Coming from a background in engineering, Steve has well over twenty years of experience in Health & Safety (H&S), including time spent as a Regional Health & Safety Officer for a major national training provider. He was responsible for covering over thirty offices/sites in the East of England.
Steve has also spent close to nine years with a prestigious law firm in Hull, E. Yorkshire, providing H&S advice to a large insurance company’s client base (from all sectors), and Steve was responsible for the law firm's internal H&S including being the company's named Competent Person.
Steve is NEBOSH qualified, a Certified member of IOSH, a Technician member of The Institute of Fire Engineers, and a member of NEBOSH Alumni.
"I have carried out a wide variety of H&S inspections including engineering companies, pizza shops, offices, and a funeral director's.I have implemented safety inspections on behalf of learning institutions with potential placement providers (including delivering training to the learning institutions managers on how to conduct Standards 1 – 9)"
